During a run of Surrey County Youth Theatre's production of 'Animal Farm' in 2003, Susan Roberts from SRA Child Agency / Academy scouted Jonathan, and enrolled him in her youth actors training courses. after 5 years under her care, with a few professional credits under his belt (whatever he could fit around school work!) he went to Exeter University to study a Drama BA at the highest rated and most practical University Drama course in the UK.
Since then Jonathan has gone from strength to strength, signing for Paul Byram Associates; going to the Edinburgh fringe twice; several independant films; some commercial viral work for 'See That Productions', 'Ossian Productions' (now 'OMG Media') and 'LeakSafe Solutions'; theatre work for 'Trailblaze Theatre Company' and 'The Nomads'; roleplaying for 'Interact' in RCGP examinations; several pieces for 'MTJ Media'; Presenting work for 'Oxford University Press'; and ongoing work in a one-man show aimed at young children for 'Mr Marvel Entertainment.'

Currently, Jonathan has just finished filming with 'See That' Production Company on a project for the British Heart Foundation's campagn for 'De-Chox' (giving up chocolate for a month for charity). He is also working as a soloist for 'Soul of the City' Choir, based in Brighton.
Jonathan also works in an ongoing role as one of the 'Mr Marvels' for 'Mr Marvel Childrens Entertainment.' They are the largest Childrens Entertainment company in the South-East.
